Kronplatz offers optimal conditions for paragliding in both summer and winter. The take-off point is located at the summit of the mountain and provides a spectacular view of the Dolomites and the Alpine main ridge. Due to its exceptionally favorable location, it's possible to take off in all wind directions. During the flight, you can admire the beauty of nature from a bird's-eye view and enjoy the feeling of freedom.
Speikboden is known for extensive thermal flights and stunning panoramic views along the Alpine main ridge. The take-off point is located at the summit of the mountain and can be easily reached by cable car. After takeoff, you'll have a breathtaking view of the Tauferer Ahrntal and the surrounding valleys.
Ahornach is a small village near Sand in Taufers and offers another great flying area. Especially in autumn and spring, it attracts many pilots due to calm and optimal conditions. The view down into the Tauferer Valley is unique and almost invites you to enjoy it. Ahornach is our introductory flight for those who want to experience taking off from the ground for about 10 minutes and then gently landing in Sand in Taufers.
Pfalzen, the sunny village in the Pustertal Valley. Thanks to its favorable location on the south side and prolonged sunshine, very good and calm flying conditions are often experienced here, offering a fantastic flight. Especially in autumn, when the leaves are in vibrant colors, it's a hidden gem! The take-off point is located at an altitude of 1600m.
Uwald Alm is situated amidst the surrounding mountain peaks in the Gsiesertal Valley and is a managed mountain hut. It offers outstanding panoramic views of the Pragser Dolomites and the valley. It's easily accessible via a forest road, on foot, or by car. In close proximity, you'll find the ideal starting point for your paragliding or thermal flight to enjoy nature and the flight experience.
